 Opinion I'm still learning the many facilities available with PRTG Network monitor, but from what I have already discovered, it more than meets my requirements and is an excellent piece of software - more then 'Fit for Purpose'. It does what it says on the box.
PRTG seems very potent. my primary use, to monitor my internet connection uptime, has been reached.

This program was recommended to me but I couldn\'t get it to work on Windows 7 Enterprise. It complained about needing administrative rights even though I am an administrator on this computer.

i cannot able to start Free Serial Port Monitor under Windows 7. The program always have not privileges to run, even i start \"as administrator\".

follow up on response Hi! My anti-virus works very fine but it is windows xp that did not recognize that it work...I think maybe your software modify one service in my PC or something like that and because of that, windows XP did not see that my anti-virus is installed and working correctly. I'm sure that your software is responsible for that because it was the only change that I do on my PC since many month.Thanks to take some time to help me, it was very appreciated.
troubleshooting after installation After I install your software, Windows XP did not recognize anymore my anti-virus software. I receive every time I logged a Windows security Alert. I desinstall your software and it did not correct the problem. I try maining things to correct the problem but nothing work. For this reason, I did not recommend your software and I will not buy it! It doesnt work as I need , I was looking after a program that I could monitoring my child on msn
I needed a easy-to-use software to check kids conversations on their wireless laptop. But I need to do all sort of twists and workaround to get it to work on a standart home network configuration such as a DSL Modem+Wireless router. It simply isnt working. Kids are old enough and wize enough to detect any installation from me on their laptop even if I hide it.Need a simple solution to catch wireless IMchat on wireless laptop using windows 7. This soft isint working.
